A wildcard is a type of search which you do on a query in access.
*means anything or any amount of a thing.
? means only one thing. you can use multiple if needed e.g to search Spain it has 5 letters so you would put ? 5 times.
To find things that start with a number: like"number*"
To find things that end with a number: like"*number"
to find things that contain certain numbers: like"*number*"
to find things with a certain amount of letters/numbers: like"?" you put one question mark for every one letter.

An OR search is a search that allows you to search for multiple things in one field. For example to search for Germany OR Spain OR France YOU WOULD PUT "Germany" OR "France" OR Spain"
